Job Summary:
The Bartender prepares and serves beverages to customers, creates a welcoming atmosphere, and ensures guests receive prompt and friendly service. The role requires knowledge of drink recipes, cash handling, and adherence to health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Greet customers and take drink and food orders.
  • Recommend beverages based on customer preferences.
  • Verify customer age and comply with alcohol service laws.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, equipment, and work area.
  • Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and bar supplies.
  • Process customer payments accurately using cash registers or POS systems.
  • Monitor customer behavior and refuse service when necessary.
  • Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Previous bartending or hospitality experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of cocktail recipes, beer, wine, and spirits.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Responsible alcohol service certification (if required by local laws).
